The report—submitted on Tuesday night—recommends disciplinary action be taken against four police officers found negligent in their duties while investigating Nusrat's sexual harassment case—and her subsequent murder case—according to police sources. It lists the negligent officers as: Feni Superintendent of Police Jahangir Alam Sarker, Sonagazi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moazzem Hossain, Sub-Inspector Iqbal, and Sub-Inspector Yusuf. Assistant Inspector General (media and planning) of police headquarters, Sohel Rana, told Dhaka Tribune the report has been submitted to the relevant quarters. A copy of the report will soon be submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, sources said.
