Among the accused, Shahadat Hossain Shamim and Javed Hossain were put on a two-day remand while and Iftekhar Uddin Rana, Imran Hossain Mamun and Mohi Uddin Shakil on a five-day remand on Thursday. Till now, police have arrested 23 people; 11 people have given their confessional statements to the court. Nusrat, a student of Sonagazi Islamia Fazil (Degree) Madrasa, died of her burn injuries on April 10, at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
