In its wake were parents who protected their children from the outside world, a boundary that sometimes attracted lawsuits against those who crossed. A never-ending question on everyone's mind has since been whether character development in children hinges on nurture by parents or nature, a combination of lessons picked from the child's surrounding. A recent survey by TUKO.co.ke sought to find out what modern-day parents considers to be the most important between nurture and nature. One group opines that the primary source of a child's character is from the parents or guardians, with the rest being secondary.
