A woman has been arrested over the deaths of four disabled people who were discovered last night with their throats slashed at a German care centre. The 51-year-old suspect is a nursing assistant who drove home after the killings and confessed them to her husband, Bild reported. Police were called around 9pm by the husband after she arrived home from the Oberlin Clinic in Potsdam, near Berlin. Tina Mäueler, the residential manager at Oberlin, told Bild that two of the victims had lived in the facility since childhood but did not give their current ages. In the most prominent trial, nurse Niels Hoegel was sentenced in 2019 to life in prison for murdering 85 patients in his care.
