So far 11 counties across the country are facing a paralysisi of services as nurses went on strike over unpaid service and uniform allowances. In the current strike, the nurses are demanding a nursing service allowance of ksh. 3000 and uniform allowance of 5000 shillings for each nurse. The nurses strike comes at a critical time when Kenya is on the Pilot stages of universal healthcare
