New Zealand Nurses Organisation Dunedin organiser Lorraine Lobb said public hospitals should not be used as profit-making entities. A privatised rebuild would be unpopular in the community as well as among doctors and nurses, she said. INZ chief executive Stephen Selwood said senior doctors should keep out of the Dunedin Hospital rebuild public-private debate. Yesterday Mr Selwood said he preferred not to make a further comment. ''I think if I commented back, to be honest, it would just put petrol on to the fire,'' Mr Selwood said.
