Nurse who removed painkillers for own use found guilty of professional misconduct


Photograph: Eric LukeA nurse who removed prescribed painkillers for his own personal use from his workplace has been found guilty of professional misconduct by a fitness-to-practise committee. The committee further found Mr Pislaru guilty of breaches of principles of the code of conduct for nurses. The inquiry heard Mr Pislaru previously admitted to the allegations. At the meeting Mr Pislaru apologised for his behaviour which he said was “all my own fault”. Mr Pislaru undertook training in Romania and obtained registration with the NMBI in 2016.
