The city's Nuit Blanche (sleepless night) takes place on Saturday, October 5th and has a packed programme - including the chance to dance or cycle on the périphérique. La Parade12 monumental works of contemporary art, brought to life by musicians, dancers and DJs, will be paraded from Place de la Concorde to Place de la Bastille from 7pm. The starting point for both routes is Place de la Concorde, with runners setting off between 10pm and 11:30pm. Not only will they receive artwork from the parade, but they'll act act as a base for exhibitions, performances, raves and even karaoke. Remember, public transport will be staying open all night, so you don't have to worry about an expensive taxi home!
