THE 39-hectare Nabao Lake in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, 81 kilometers north of Manila, is envisioned as a choice fun destination and venue for out-of-town business conferences for both local and foreign touristsMayor Ramil Rivera made the announcement as he marked his first 100 days in office. He said this was part of the town’s development plan to make the placid Nabao Lake in Barangay Santa Rita a banner multi-interest getaway haven. The place will offer wake boarding, dragon race, zipline, fishing, kayaking and other water-based recreations alongside rest huts and function halls. He added that the project will help the local government raise funds to enhance Cabiao’s social welfare and services programs for its 80,000 residents. Beneficiaries will be students in Cabiao National High School, Santa Rita High School and Saint Joseph High School, who are assured of full college scholarship at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Cabiao and senior high school from First Asian International System College.
