Now you can have a large display and slim edges on a budget - Tech News

Large displays and slim edges are no longer the preserve of high-end smartphones, if some of the devices shown at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona are anything to go by.With the View 2, Wiko has introduced a smartphone with a 19:9 display, intended to give you an even larger display surface to work with compared to the 18:9 View model. To enable the larger display, Wiko has created a new Android user interface called Custom Fit. An eight-core processor (Snapdragon 435), 3 gigabytes (GB) of RAM and 32 GB of storage space are concealed behind the 6-inch HD Plus display. The device is available for €200 (RM964). For an extra €100 (RM482), there's also a Pro version with twice as much memory, a more powerful Snapdragon 450 processor and a dual camera set-up.TP-Link and Archos also presented new smartphones with slim display edges – albeit in the popular 18:9 aspect ratio.TP-Link's Neffos N1, available from April for around €350 (RM1,687), comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Mediatek Helio eight-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage space and a dual camera system.Archos has also equipped its new Core 60S with two camera lenses on the back. However, it only offers a 6-inch HD resolution display along with a quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage space. The device will carry a price tag of €200.
