Now we know what happens to teens when you make pot legal


July 1, 2014 Bob Leeds, a recreational pot grower in Seattle and owner of Sea of Green Farms, inspects “clone” plants growing under lights. Opponents have often claimed that marijuana legalization would lead to more kids smoking pot, with all the negative health consequences that would entail. The numbers out of Colorado are being closely monitored by policymakers and advocates on both sides of the marijuana legalization divide. The clones will develop into plants that produce the "flower" required to make potent recreational marijuana. But there haven't been many numbers available specifically for states such as Colorado and Washington where it is legal.
