Photo: MintNew Delhi: To encourage use of Aadhar by passengers of Indian Railways, the national carrier has decided to allow booking of up to 12 tickets a month for IRCTC users who get themselves verified through the Aadhar number. So far a person can book only up to 6 tickets a month using an IRCTC account. For the last one year, Indian Railways has been trying to make Aadhaar mandatory for booking and travelling in train, but the move hasn’t received the government’s nod yet.
