KOTA KINABALU: Sabah STAR president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (pic) has “changed his tone” on the inclusion of a PAS member into the state assembly as a nominated rep. This was hardly two hours after the party downplayed the appointment of a PAS member as a nominated assemblyman. Jeffrey had said it was a non-issue since it was not a ministerial post when contacted by The Star on Thursday (Oct 8). “PAS leaders have time and again issued statements that upset the feelings and sentiments of multi-cultural and multi-religious Sabah. He has not been appointed to the state Law and Native Affairs Ministry as rumoured by DAP and Warisan,” Jeffrey added.
