Sri Lanka fast bowler Lahiru Kumara has been tested positive for Covid-19, sources said on Monday (22). The player is one of the members named for the forthcoming Sri Lanka tour of West Indies. He has been named in the Sri Lanka ODI and T20I squads as well as the Test squad for the West Indies tour. This will anyway not affect Sri Lanka’s preparation for the West Indies series, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) sources revealed. Suranga Lakmal will replace Kumara in the Sri Lanka short-format squad which will leave for the Caribbean island of Antigua reportedly tomorrow (23).
