That’s your second home as a player when you’re in junior hockey and on the bus. The junior hockey community in Nova Scotia is in shock after learning of a fatal crash carrying members of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team. The Humboldt Broncos bus was involved in an accident Friday night on the way to a playoff game in northeastern Saskatchewan, leaving 14 dead and another 15 hospitalized. The team is a member of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and like the Maritime Hockey League, is part of the 10-league Canadian Junior Hockey League. It’s definitely much more bigger than a hockey game,” said David Ritcey, Maritime Hockey League chairman of the board of governors and former junior coach.
