Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Vitor Pereira on a short-term contract. The former Wolves boss becomes Forest's fourth different manager since the start of the season after agreeing terms on an 18 month deal. Pereira, 57, succeeds Sean Dyche, who was sacked in the early hours of Thursday morning after just 25 matches in charge. Pereira is now tasked with preventing Forest from suffering their first relegation since they returned to the top flight in 2022. At 12:31am on Thursday, a statement from the City Ground read: "Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
