Bendtner, 28, had been without a club since his contract at Wolfsburg was terminated in April but has now sealed a return to English football. Bendtner emerged through the Arsenal youth system and went on to score 45 goals in 171 games in all competitions for the Gunners. The Dane enjoyed loan spells as Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus before leaving Arsenal at the end of 2013-14 season when his contract expired. Bendtner then joined Wolfsburg in 2014 and scored nine times before leaving the Bundesliga outfit after both parties agreed to terminate his deal.
