Preston claimed a controversial 2-1 win at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest's disappointing season ended on a losing note. There was controversy surrounding Preston's second goal, as Bond failed to act on an offside flag from his assistant. Forest, who had not played with the same level of urgency in the second half, could not find a leveller. Thankfully it went our way, we played to the whistle and Liam came up with a good goal for us. I thought we struggled to get up in support of Ched and we changed our approach a little bit in the second half, to address that.
