The Ghana National Fire Service is yet to confirm the source of the fire. Lands Commission office in SekondiThe Ghana National Fire Service on May 5, 2019, had to intervene in the situation to save the Sekondi Office of the Stool Lands Administration and Land Valuation from being razed by fired. According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the GRA disregarded recommendations to improve fire safety systems at their office. According to reports, almost everything in the chamber was destroyed, the items included reports of the Auditor General and audited accounts of some institutions, computers and files.
