New Zealand No 8 Nick Williams with his baby daughter, after helping Cardiff Blues win the 2018 European Challenge Cup final. Former Blues No 8 Nick Williams can play another season for Cardiff after all after getting the green light from the Welsh Rugby Union. Cardiff Blues chief executive Richard Holland hailed the decision by the WRU's Professional Rugby Board (PRB), which has the final say on overseas players' contracts. He will now continue to play a key role in mentoring and developing young Welsh talent. "Nick embodies all of the values we want at Cardiff Blues and this mentoring role has the potential to become something more long-term."
