Not my Islam' KHAYREYAH AMANI WAHAABIf homophobia is conquered, hate loses yet again. Scripture around homosexuality in Islam is dubious at best and can be interpreted in many ways. I challenge them to say, "Not in my name, not my Islam." A natural progression for their hatred would be the LGBT community, because above all else, the rainbow community is about unity. A few things are going to happen as a result of this shooting; there will be those Islamic leaders issuing media statements as per usual, denouncing the evil committed in the name of Islam.
