Not all heroes wear black, though this one didOliver Li A hero in black. Maybe I was exhausted, like those spent players, but maybe, also, there was a touch of perspective in my reaction. Yes, those 40-odd blokes in black and green are heroes to thousands, but they're heroes paid handsomely to put their undoubted talents on display, to train, to work out, to eat right. I could, and so could countless others, because Jackie does such a good job, across platforms, of keeping people informed. Yes, I may have been pulling for the Springboks on that dramatic night, but I definitely had a hero dressed all in black this week too.
