"Not My President": Basically Everyone Now Knows Venezuela Is A Dictatorship


Venezuela's president Nicolas Maduro was sworn in to another six-year term on Thursday. No one but the Socialists United of Venezuela (PSUV) thinks this guy is legitimate anymore. On Saturday, Brazil's new right-wing government of Jair Bolsonaro said opposition leader and head of the National Assembly, Juan Guiado, is the legitimate president. Maduro stripped the National Assembly of its legislative powers two years ago to create a Constituent Assembly, a congress of PSUV yes men (and women). The National Assembly is the equivalent of the House of Representatives and Guiado would be like Nancy Pelosi.
