National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah, has stoked a political storm after he blamed Jawahar Lal Nehru, Sardar Patel and Moulana Abul Kalam Azad for the Partition. (Mohammed Ali) Jinnah accepted but Jawahar Lal Nehru, Sardar Patel and Moulana Azad did not accept it. When it did not happen, Jinnah started again raising the demand for Pakistan," said Farooq. "Farooq Abdullah has been making such statements to be in the news," said Professor Virender Gupta, state BJP spokesman. Nehru, Patel and Azad asked Muslims not to leave because India is a secular state.
