Tuesday’s 3-1 win against Birmingham City was a special occasion for the academy graduate, marking his 200th appearance for the club. However, I think what has really earned him a place in the hearts of Norwich City fans has been his loyalty and professionalism. Not a transfer window goes by where Max doesn’t get linked with a move away from Carrow Road. There will come a time when Max does move on, but he will do so with the blessing of City fans. More than any other academy graduate in recent years, I hope he goes on to forge a career at the highest level.
