Norwich City captain Kenny McLean has said he will be staying with the Championship club next season. The 34-year-old Scotland international told BBC Radio Norfolk that an option to extend his deal had been taken up. McLean made his 300th appearance for the Canaries in their FA Cup defeat at Leeds United on Sunday. He said the decision to take up the final year of his contract was made during the reign of manager Johannes Hoff Thorup, who was sacked in April 2025. "The way we've gone over the last few months with the manager, the form table would tell you that we should be challenging," he said.
