A judge told Brungodt he will face a probable cause hearing and a bail hearing on Aug. 9. A Norwegian man charged with making threats against Maine police officers via email and Twitter will be detained until at least next week. He was arrested Wednesday and charged with making threatening interstate communications. The Portland Press Herald reported Wednesday that it received a threatening email from someone who said it was "time for more police to die." Twenty-eight-year-old Espen Brungodt of Norway appeared in U.S. District Court in Portland on Thursday.
