In Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation, the RCMP arrested and charged two 19-year-old suspects for drug trafficking after authorities seized cocaine during a traffic stop in Norway House. A search was done of the vehicle and the RCMP found 42 grams of crack which was wrapped up, 57 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia—possibly baggies or scales, a knife, and an undisclosed amount of cash. According to the Norway House RCMP, both teens hail from Winnipeg and were charged with cocaine possession, possession of coke for trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime. The knife was the crux of a charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
