Addressing party members at Zabzugu, during his tour of the Northern region, Mr. Mahama called on the electorates to retain his government to ensure they get more development during the next four years. Mahama would be contesting his main challenger Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the opposition New Patriotic Party. The Progressive People’s Party’s Kwesi Nduom and Ivor Greenstreet of the Convention People’s Party are also fighting for the presidency. Meanwhile, the regent of Yendi Kampakuya Naa Abdulai Andani has attributed the continuous rainfall in Yendi as a sign of victory for Mr. Mahama.
