On that day, Shimla and Mussoorie recorded maximum and minimum temperatures of 14.8 and 4 and 14.1 and 3.9 degrees Celsius, respectively. On Sunday, Delhi recorded a minimum of 3.2 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 13.5 degrees Celsius, while Shimla and Mussoorie recorded their maximum and minimum temperatures at 14.4 and 2.8 degrees Celsius and 14.5 and 4 degrees Celsius, respectively. In Haryana, minimum temperatures hovered close to the freezing point at some places on Sunday. On the same day, Rajasthan capital Jaipur's minimum temperature settled at 1.4 degrees Celsius -- the lowest in more than five decades.
