There are several reasons for Northern Virginia’s advantage, but basically it offers more of what businesses like to see in deciding where to invest. ADAmazon’s arrival “is transformational and validates everything we’ve been saying for 20 years about both the reality and potential of Northern Virginia,” said Bobbie Kilberg, chief executive of the Northern Virginia Technology Council. Still, she acknowledges that Northern Virginia’s economic dominance is a worry.
