A weak, east-leaning cold air mass is expected to arrive on the night of January 26–27, affecting the northeastern provinces and Thanh Hoa. Although this year’s cold air activity is weaker than average, strong short-term cold spells may still occur through late January and into February. Northern areas will remain cold, and southern parts cool. On January 26–27, the northeast and Thanh Hoa will have scattered drizzle.
