A 19-year-old Northern Irish man is alleged to have threatened Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in a Twitter message. A man in Northern Ireland has reportedly appeared in court charged with sending a death threat to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. The alleged threat was sent on Twitter after the March 15 Christchurch mosque attacks. Matthew Burns, 19, from Newtownhamilton in the south of Northern Ireland allegedly sent Ardern a photo on March 20 (local time) of a gun with a silencer with the message: "You're next." A spokesperson from the Prime Minister's office said there was no comment on the case, as it was a matter for the courts in Northern Ireland.
