Northern Health is investigating a possible measles outbreak in Prince George but says a letter informing parents the disease has been confirmed is "premature." 'Leading cause of vaccine-preventable deaths'Since 2003 only 16 cases of measles have been recorded in Northern B.C. From 2003 until 2014 there were only 16 recorded cases in the Northern Health region, all in 2010.
