The gallery, inspired by Joe Cornish, one of Britain’s most popular landscape photographers, has been open for more than 20 years, selling not only his work but that of many other photographers and mounting exhibitions of work from Britain and the rest of the world. Joe is well known for his haunting and beautiful portrayals of his beloved North York Moors as well as many other parts of the North, Scotland and further afield. His latest exhibition is with David Ward reflecting their photographic friendship and creative parallels, where they have put pairs of photographs together including landscape vista photographs by David and intimate landscape details by Joe. Other highlights in the lead up to the closure of the gallery is the sale of the Northern Light Calendar. On December 22 they are inviting friends and customers to join them for mulled wine and mince pies between 11am and 3pm.
