This application is a step in the digitisation program by the corporation to maintain electronic records and widen its tax base," said North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor, Preeti Aggarwal. The application would reduce human interaction as everything will go online thus lowering corruption among the MCD staff. All the digitised and scanned data on the MCD online system would be synchronised thus helping the taxpayer further.
