The ANC had called a press conference to update the country on the situation in the province. News24 reported that the premier would resign on Wednesday and officially submit his letter of resignation to the speaker of the North West legislature. Mahumapelo will do so after the ANC, who had called a press conference for 12:00, offered an update on “the developments” in the North West.
