An auction at a pub raised more than £2,000 after being strongly supported by bids and donations from the local community. The King’s Head in North Lopham hosted the event which included items such as a pamper hamper, football tickets for any Ipswich or Norwich game and a tour of Woodford Brewery, in December. Louise Griffiths, who runs the pub with her husband, Martin, said interest in the returning event had been particularly pleasing. “We are committed to supporting local charities.
