The tiles are reportedly being used to construct facilities where chemical weapons are produced. The council, and other entities, have suspected since 2011 that Pyongyang could be providing the supplies needed to bolster Syria's chemical weapons program. One UN diplomat told CNN, on one of these visits the North Korean missile technicians were housed in Syrian military facilities. Myanmar expelled one North Korean diplomat a year ago for dealings with a banned North Korean company.
