North Korea has named a top nuclear negotiator Choe Son Hui as its first female foreign minister, state media reported Saturday. The talks have stalled, with North Korea ignoring repeated offers from the US to return to negotiations. On Tuesday, US Special Representative for North Korea Sung Kim said Washington believed North Korea was preparing toconduct a seventh nuclear test, its first since 2017. The International Atomic Energy Agency also said North Korea was readying a test site, "possibly in preparation for a nuclear test."
