FIRTH — Blake Macklin had a huge rushing day for the Norris Titans Friday night in a win over rival Beatrice. Four plays later, quarterback Crew Meints found Trey Henning streaking down the sideline for a 37 yard touchdown pass. The Orangemen offense went three-and-out on their next drive and punted the ball back to Norris at their own 35 yard line. A face mask penalty and several run plays by John Riesen set up an eventual 17 yard touchdown run by Meints. A 15 yard run by Macklin followed by a 40 yard touchdown run by Macklin extended the Norris lead to 28-12.
