Nonini has slammed his former Calif Records producer Clemmo branding him ignorant for demanding a cut in the rapper's KSh 1 million awarded from a copyright infringement suit. The lawsuit was filed after Mutinda used Nonini's song without permission in a promotional video for a product. However, Nonini dismissed these claims and branded Clemmo as ignorant for his statement and vowed to go after Clemmo in court. In a video Clemmo is heard saying in part:“Someone got paid or rather a judgement was passed and someone was favoured and got paid some money for works that I did, so my question is this. The influencer was also directed to pull down the promotional video from his social media pages.
