When we took him for his first dose in Penang, he was still terribly nervous and apprehensive. It was the professionalism of the staff at the vaccination centre that won him over. He later told us that he felt no side effects whatsoever, and has since become an advocate for vaccination to his group of elderly friends. My reason for writing is to convey my father’s thanks to the Prime Minister and government for looking after the welfare of the aged. He cannot write well in English but wanted to personally convey his gratitude and appreciation.
