The annual dynamics of headline inflation continue to be driven primarily by non-food prices, as food inflation has fallen back to its pre-2022 levels. Monthly core inflation also decelerated to 0.2% in December, compared with 0.8% in November and 0.9% in December 2024, reflecting mainly negative core food inflation. Monthly food inflation registered negative 0.7% in December 2025, contributing a negative 0.26 percentage point to monthly headline inflation.
