Nomination of CSOs rep to OSP board must not be rigged again - Amidu to Akufo-Addo

In a 2-paged letter copied to GhanaWeb, Amidu, without mentioning names, alleged that previously the president had forced a pliant representative into the post. He also accused anti-corruption CSOs of failing to stand up to the president when the said nomination was made. Amidu has also drawn the attention of the president to the fact that the three-year mandate of the governing board of the OSP had expired effective midnight of 11th July, 2021. His latest release comes days before the Appointments Committee of Parliament vets Kissi Adjabeng, who has been nominated by President Akufo-Addo as Amidu's successor.
