A nominated MCA in Tharaka Nithi has provided 300 school girls with re-usable sanitary towels that will last them a year. The MCA Milcent Morgan (Jubilee) has been using her allowances to purchase the pads to keep the girls in school. The former primary school teacher said her personal experience on the plight of girls missing school because of menstrual periods made her take up the initiative.
