The building is still unoccupied, but Agogué and her neighbours have been plagued by the noise, round the clock, since the ventilation system kicked in on May 25. "We couldn't open the window at night because of the noise," Agogué said. She and her neighbours have launched a petition, calling for the building's owner, Canderel, to do something about the noise. Paul Litherland, who lives about 300 metres from the Canderel building, said the noisy ventilation system is just causing more stress in these already-stressful times. The Canderel building is home to Microsoft's research lab in Montreal.
