No visitors except animals and cobras at abandoned venue - Nation

NIBONG TEBAL: A lack of activity at the State Stadium in Batu Kawan has resulted in small animals and even snakes calling it their home. Stadium technician Asfaariff Othman, 35, said security guards had seen shed snake skin in the toilets and near the walls. “They looked like that of cobras but there was also skin of other snake species,” he said. Asfaariff said that after the discovery of the snake skin, the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) took over the management and maintenance of the stadium from the Penang Sports Council in 2014.
