Home Advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said there is no tension along the India-Bangladesh border, describing the situation as relatively stable. “There is no tension at the border now. The advisor added that a meeting between the director generals of Border Guard Bangladesh, or BGB, and India's Border Security Force, or BSF, is scheduled for next month to discuss restoring peace. On the domestic front, Jahangir said there is no fertiliser shortage in the country. He warned, "If anyone tries to create an artificial shortage of fertiliser, action will be taken against them.
