No space for politics in church during service in Bomet

In yet another continuing trend recently set by church leaders, politicians accompanying President William Ruto during a church service in Bomet were today denied an opportunity to speak. Ruto was in Sotik for the official opening and dedication of the newly completed Chebango AGC church. Bishop Robert Langat who presided over the service only recognised their presence and invited Ruto to speak. While speaking, Ruto said they have agreed to respect the church as a holy place of worship. This is translated to mean, "the church is a holy place and we will give it the respect it deserves, we will take our politics outside the church in that respect."
